That’s right! You can spend Sunday, October 13th, 2013 surrounded by a sea of hyper children dressed as their favorite comic book characters at the New York Comic Con 2013. It’s like your nephew’s birthday party on a sugar high! Sounds like a nightmare? Or, does is sound AMAZING??? Being a giant nerd, I can’t wait!
Kids under 6 do not require a ticket and are admitted for free. Parents on the other hand, do need one each as well as all kids ages 6-12. Kid’s tickets will not be available at the door, so you must purchase them before hand (plus, advanced registration is required).
Intrigued? Well, you better think fast. Tickets for the NYCC tend to sell out super fast. See what I did there? “Super fast”?
If you want to check out Comic Con but would rather keep your sanity, consider attending on a Thursday instead. It’s the first day of the 4-day extravaganza and is usually the most low-key. There won’t be any kid-specific programming, but there will be more breathing room and still enough excitement to go around.
Go forth and excelsior!
